Hello everyone!
This is my first blog post ever soI guess I should start off this with some info about me as that seems fitting. My name is Farooq Janjua and I am currently a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and I am majoring in mechanical engineering. I am in my second year and second semester there right now and I am a year younger than all of my classmates. I have one older brother (14 months older) and we both were born in Pakistan. My family moved here when I was 7 in hopes of a better life and education.
So that is some pretty basic info that most people know about me so I guess I'll expand a bit more. My main hobby is video games and has been for years. I have been playing them for years and I plan to make several blog entries related to them and I hope that doesn't bore people away. My favorite sport is tennis, although I haven't played in about a year now which sucks, and this probably the only sport that I find entertaining to watch on TV. I don't listen to music much at all. If I'm driving, I usually don't even bother turning the radio on. Not sure why. I don't dislike music, its just not my thing I guess.
Why ProIntuition? Well here's the story. Even though I've played games for most of my life, my brother is usually the person who picks the games that we play first and for some reason he always got to pick the gamer tag / handle that we both shared and I was usually too lazy to create my own. He started using XFreak when the XBox came out since we're pretty big XBox fans so he went with that. Later that became XFreakUnleashed in some other handles. When I made some, they were related to my favorite anime and it was usually kenshinhimora (yes I know its Himura but that was taken already so I went with the o instead of the u) but explaining that to most people gets to be a drag so I decided I want to drop it. On Warcraft 3 I made one called Intuition which I like a lot but that's already taken on blogspot so I just added a pro to it.
I think that this is getting to be a good bit lengthy for a first entry so I'll leave this as is and make another entry sometime later. Expect some lengthy ones on video games later though!
